Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Ongoing Forge. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. You must provide accurate registration information.

Your data

You retain ownership of the business records you enter. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, process, back up and display that data in order to provide the service. We do not use your business data to train machine learning models.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other organizations' data, or interfere with the operation of the service.

Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.

Fees

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period shown at the time of purchase. Fees are stated in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. If you cancel, your plan remains active through the end of the paid period.

What the service does not do

Ongoing Forge is inventory and process tracking software. It is not a quality management system, it does not store or issue material certificates, and it does not provide accounting, costing or regulatory compliance functions. You remain responsible for your own quality, metallurgical and regulatory obligations, and for verifying the accuracy of data you enter.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. On termination you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account holders, and the date above will be updated.
